I am passionate about Cambodia, Thailand and RememberNhu. Let me explain in a nutshell: In February of this year (2009) I traveled with a group of nine to Cambodia and Thailand to learn more and witness the truth of the sex slave industry that exists throughout the world. Cambodia and Thailand are especially hard hit and when the situation presented itself to join this group, I felt the desire and calling surge within me. Three weeks later we took off to an unknown part of the world, only to find that we fell totally in love with the people and were inspired by the amazing difference the organization "RememberNhu" is doing in helping young girls, and in the future, boys, from becoming victims..RH was founded by a couple from Akron, Ohio, and they have devoted their lives to ensure safety for young boys and girls who are so tragically lost in the crowd.
So, it was into this world of sex and slavery that the nine of us first entered Phnom Penh, Cambodia, only to find that where there is darkness, there is also light as we saw young girls living in RememberNhu homes where they are being prepared and educated toward a future of hope. It takes effort, it takes perseverance, it takes love and it takes God to see it being accomplished.

The situation is so many places is so sad, so heartbreaking... to see for real, an awakening does happen, how can it not. Applauding your courage to go and see, be transformed, and help, Ragna. :o)
It is so good to read of your account and remember through your words, eyes and heart!
