Spring vacation at the coast. Such a blessing even though it was windy and rainy.
We enjoyed and were fascinated by the blessing of the fishing fleet, such a nice tradition in Newport.
And we were overjoyed by the blessing of Steve, Kari-Anne and Sofie joining us...

Sofie is getting big! A girly-girl.
They also have the blessing of the fleet in Louisiana. I can't remember exactly when it is....probably before the shrimp season. The shrimpers decorate their boats highly and they are all lit up and then at dusk the priest sprinkles each boat and its crew with Holy Water.
Hope your weather gets better soon.
That seems like a great thing to be a part of. Rain and all. Love the way the little one is looking back and half cavered with her hood. We have dry chilly wind here. No moisture in sight.... so there are fires in the foothills. Always love to hear from you (o:
So nice to hear from both of you even though I haven't been around much.
I had never heard of the fishing fleet being blessed by clergy, so this was good news to me..
