It is our tradition to attend the Christmas Party at Son's of Norway every year, and this year was no exception. With grandchildren it makes it especially fun. To see their little faces with joy and wonder makes the evening complete.
Sons of Norway has a large hall with wood floors, some of the best dance floors in the Western USA...
The children had a splendid time chasing each other around the Christmas tree, which always stands in the middle of the room.
Caroling around the tree came later and as young and old gathered in three circles, singing the Norwegian Christmas songs became a delight to us all.
It is such a wonderful tradition to pass on to our children and grand-children and it brings me joy knowing they appreciate it so much.
A delicious pork and sausage meal was prepared by the men and let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS....My hat is off to the master cooks.
Santa came later and this year Sofie jumped up on Santa's lap with no fear.
Laughter was in the air, and touching base with good friends was heartwarming as we wished each other God Jul (Merry Christmas)...
